Dr. Kurteeva is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She completed her medical training at Loma Linda University graduating with top honors to be elected into Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She went on to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI to successfully fulfill her transitional medicine internship requirement as well as surgical residency in ophthalmology.
Our practice focuses on precision cataract extraction surgery using the latest technology available including femtosecond laser, premium or lifestyle intraocular lens technology and LASIK refractive surgery as well as newest minimally invasive glaucoma procedures (MIGS).
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as American Society of Cataract and the BEST CATARACT SURGEONS in AMERICA. She contributed to the Academy’s Young Ophthalmologist publication as well as scientific journals.
Over the years, Dr. Kurteeva has become an expert in aesthetics around the eye and facial rejuvenation by investing in the latest technology and educating herself about skin care. She is a certified injector of neurotoxins to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, facial fillers to give a restful look, and skin tightening for skin damaged by sun and stressful life events. She has embraced the radiofrequency and microneedling treatment for acne and lax skin and offers non-surgical blepharoplasty in our beautiful in-office suite.
Fluent in both English and Russian, Dr. Kurteeva caters to the diverse needs of Newport Beach residents. We offer full-service optical and contact lens fitting in our office.
